When it's sunny in Ireland you don't need permission to pack your bag and go. No wait, don't pack your bag, just go. Go somewhere where you wanted to go for ages, no plane ticket necessary. We have Ireland and it is our eternally beautiful home.
And just like I'm saying here, I didn't think twice. I just filled up my tank, switched on my satnav and drove for 2 and a half hours. When I got to the Rosslare Strand I thought I was somewhere on a sunny holiday. The sea was warm the sun was shining, people were floating on rubber mattresses and sunbathing on the sand.
You know that feeling when you wake up in the morning on your holidays, you go to the beach, it's not crowded yet. You see the water, the sun is shining, the fresh breeze hits your face, and a wave of joy and internal satisfaction hits your brain. Yep, that's what it was like for me.
I thought Wexford would be a beautiful place, but I was quickly disappointed and decided that Waterford is my next destination for discovery. You see, I don't do this touristy stuff, I like to see the place for what it is, without crowds, tickets and ice-cream machines.
