Bragging about this sort of achievement is always a pleasure. Having your work represented in print is like a token of creativity and a representation of inventiveness as a collective from an amazing group of people.
We have fought for light and dry patches on that day. Our ceremony shot was limited to exactly 3 takes and then it started to pour. The chairs that we used were vintage and newly upholstered limiting us from waiting out the rain shower, so we had to bring everything back inside within minutes.
Trudder Lodge has smitten me with it's individuality. It is a family owned home that closes for the months of winter when the family moves back into the house. The grounds remind you of a wonderland. Endless greenery with a river stream make a perfect location for outside ceremonies. As a photographer, I was swept off my feet being able to imagine the beautiful photos that could be captured on a wedding day at Trudder Lodge.
This shoot was supposed to showcase two stages of a wedding day. The traditional wedding attire that will later change into a more relaxed and casual feel. Intricate details, splashes of colour in fabrics and different textures of wedding cakes will inspire you to come up with your own wedding ideas!
